Upon passing the California real estate salesperson license exam, most new licensees receive a "conditional" California real estate license. An "18 month conditional" real estate sales agent license is good for 18 months. It is "conditioned" on the requirement that the new licensee complete two 18 month statutory courses within the first 18 months of obtaining his or her California real estate license. Once a new real estate sales licensee has completed the two 18 month statutory courses and notified the Department of Real Estate, the licensee's 18 month conditional real estate license is converted into a regular four-year license. In some cases, classes taken in college or law school can be used as substitutes for the two required statutory courses. If you have any questions regarding courses that you have taken previously, feel free to call our administrative office for a transcript evaluation. Premier Schools offers you a wide selection of California online and home-study courses to help you meet your 18 month conditional license requirement and extend your license quickly and conveniently! Our courses are specifically designed so that a student can easily absorb the key points contained in the course materials. The final exams for our California real estate courses are open-book exams and can either be taken online or through an outside monitor. Our low-cost, high quality courses are all fully approved by the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) and registered through the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE). |
